Here at ASM
Drifting, we have a broad vision, yes, we enjoy expensive drift toys and we
love the challenges & competitions that force us out of our comfort zone
& send us into an adrenaline induced state of Nirvana, but for the most part,
we are equally passionate about contributing and giving something back to our
community. Our aim is not only to
promote this sport with the hopes of attracting fellow competitors, but also to
potentially contribute towards the current “Illegal Street Racing” movement
that is sadly robbing innocent people of their family & friends.
We are 100%
committed to any form of “Drift Introduction” and look forward to being given
an opportunity to come to your hometown and present you and the locals with an
efficient, exciting & epic drift demo.Currently there are only a few venues/promoters that are equipped to host
a drift competition – we hope that by traveling from one end of SA and drifting
right through to the other end, the venue list will grow as will the competitor
field & classes.
A drift
demo doesn’t require that much space, to give you an indication we would say roughly
the size of a car park area. A smooth surface
is a huge help as the coarseness determines how long a set of tyres would last,
so the smoother the better, this doesn’t mean we can’t drift on a rough surface
it’s just not cost effective to do so.Whether
you are a track owner, or think you have a suitable venue, please feel free to
contact us for more information, costs & basic requirements.
Things to
consider...
Demo’s will
almost always be done on a week-end, events & schedule permitting us to
travel.
How many
drifters would you like to have participate at your demo?
Are you
going to incorporate the drift demo into an event or Motor Show?
Spectator
security, is there a barrier / fence / wall already in place?
